Reactive Dyes basically are aromatic & synthetic structural compounds of molecular base with different types having separate properties & are commonly used in textile industry. These dyes are part of a group of organic substances which are utilized in tinting of textiles.

Some highly reactive dyes are used in exhaust dyeing while moderately reactive dyes are used in continuous dyeing & printing. There are some other types of reactive dyes available which are used in semi-continuous & continuous dyeing and others with usefulness for fabrics, knits and cotton yarns.

Normally the reactive dyes are manufactured for the purpose of permanent dyeing of fibers which are plant based such as cotton, ramie, linen, rayon, hemp, cellulose fiber, viscose etc.
